How do you make an oven that can process thousands of degrees of heat? Geo-polymer cement fortified with basalt reinforcements!

Oven made with basalt reinforcements

This high temperature oven was built by Jonathan Hampton in Arizona. Jonathan has been making geo-polymers for years. This oven was recently hand made, it can handle over 2,000 degrees and is processing precious metals!

Basalt rebars, mesh and chopped fibers hold this incredible geo-polymer together. Regular concrete would burst under these temperatures.

We find this combination awesome and it proves the bonding properties of these materials for new developments.
